Thinking like a BCBA: Training Clinical Judgment in Supervision

This supervision CEU focuses on a skill often assumed but rarely taught in supervision: clinical judgment. Many supervisees learn how to follow programs and meet requirements, but fewer are explicitly trained to reason through clinical decisions when conditions change. This course examines common supervision traps such as micromanagement and rigidity, and provides practical, behavior-analytic strategies to support independent clinical reasoning.
